Timeless shaker cabinets with natural marble benchtops – kitchen renovation by Master Bathrooms & Kitchens
This beautiful kitchen renovation we completed in the Hills District has a truly timeless design with plenty of storage and bench space.
The customers chose a white and neutral colour scheme that blends in with the homes decor to create a consistent and cohesive design.
White shaker cabinets with a polyurethane finish are in abundance in this large kitchen. This recessed panel cabinet design is extremely popular as it suits all types of kitchens, both modern and traditional. The wall cabinets are finished with a painted bulkhead and cornice to create a clean and continuous finish with the walls, and avoids the frustrating task of having to clean on top of the kitchen cabinets. The integrated dishwasher is finished with the shaker cabinet panel so as to blend in with the adjacent cabinet doors. The detailed wrought iron handles used on both wall and floor cabinets compliment the shaker cabinet design. White kickboards are used to finish the floor cabinets creating a seamless finish.
No area was left to go to waste. A large pantry with automatic lighting, and cupboards above the new stainless steel fridge and freezer. Push to open cabinets were installed on the outside of the breakfast bar area. A custom made spice drawer was placed under the microwave next to the cooktop for ease of use whilst cooking and a pullout bin installed under the sink to the left of the dishwasher is the perfect position when cleaning up after meals.

Stunning natural marble with bevilled edge is used on the benchtops and contrasts with the white cabinets while blending perfectly with the 600 x 600mm faux marble porcelain floor tile that we tiled throughout the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.
The glass splashback was custom made in the same colour as the paint used on the kitchen walls and features LED strip lighting, which serves as both a feature lighting and a practical lighting when preparing meals and cooking.
The stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap overlooks the view from the large timber kitchen window. Stainless steel Smeg appliances are used throughout this beautifully renovated kitchen.
